ContentI try to avoid the loud-mouth claims that typify this business, but I'll give you one, and back it up.  There's not a single handicapping service that comes close to providing you the detailed analysis and breadth of coverage that PigPicks.com provides each and every week.  Our weekly poackage includes:

  1. Key ReleasesThese are the games where the money is won every week.  But we don't hide behind a 900 number, we don't just give you the team and expect you to take our word for it, we give you a 3 to 5 paragraph detailed write-up on exactly why we're doing what we're doing.  You learn while you earn, because we don't hide our tactics - they're out in the open for everybody to see.  You'll get 2-5 games a week with full-blown breakdowns and explanations of why we have the edge.

  2. RecommendationsThere is a strict discipline which governs which games grade-out to be Key Releases.  Many 'good plays' are left on the cutting room floor if they fail to meet even one of our proprietary thresholds.  But there can still be a decided edge to one team, and I certainly don't want you on the wrong side of these games.  So I give you the 'recommended' side of games that nearly made the grade, but are not Key Releases.  By the way, these little gems hit over 60% last year too!

  3. 'Stay Away Games'These are the last little nuggets we offer up each week.  Stay Away Games are those where there is a favorite, typically very popular with the general public, laying way too many points to a bad team that gets no public support at the window.  We have devised ways to quantify these mismatches, and warn you to 'stay away' from these games, as there is no reason to back either side.  Often these involve favorites that we think may well lose the game, but involve underdogs that do not deserve our hard earned money.

ExampleIn Week 2, San Diego was a 6 point favorite to New Orleans (seems obvious now, but it wasn't then or the line would never have been -6!)  We said: "Never lay 6 points with an offense as bad as the Chargers'.  The Saints Pass Rush will give Leaf fits"  Result?  New Orleans won the game straight up as a 6 pt. dog, Leaf was sacked 5 times, and threw for an anemic 116 yards and 2 picks!
